Island Ridge Pheasantry
Wolfe Island has a large population of trophy size White Tail Deer, wild Turkey, and is world renowned for migratory wild fowl. IRP does not offer guided hunting of these species, but can arrange through our IRP guides, hunting of these species.
Handicapped hunting facilities of upland birds are available from our overland turf cruiser using a pointing dog. Aging hunters limiting physical disabilities can ride the "overland" behind the pointing dogs. When the dog goes on the point the hunter leaves the overland to hunt the bird.
